The Don Barnhart Comedy Hypnosis Show delivers interactive, improvisational and sidesplitting comedy while simultaneously unlocking the unique mysteries of the human mind. It's a musical and fast-paced romp through volunteers' subconscious creative genius that keeps audiences on the edges of their seats. Akin to releasing the hidden talents of a dozen comedians onstage with Barnhart as the ringleader, each performance is kept clean and wholly unique.

Don Barnhart's Comedy Hypnosis Show is part stand up comedy, part improvisation, part hypnosis and a little bit of America’s Got Talent and full on funny! Audience members have the option to volunteer or sit back and watch. The show is family friendly and rated PG 13. From 18-80, you're sure to have a great time.

Barnhart is one of the very few hypnotism acts performing regularly in Las Vegas that is family-friendly; Don takes the positive aspects of hypnotic trances for a spin, convincing his volunteers to be superstars and fitness models. Don's twenty years of comedy club experience are evident, as well as his Second City improv skills and his self-improvement hypnotic abilities. Barnhart, who continues to perform his stand-up show in Las Vegas 8-10 weeks a year and was just nominated for the Las Vegas Review-Journal's 2010 "Best Comedian" award, was certified as a hypnotist by the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. HMI has earned the distinction of being America's first hypnotherapy training institution to become nationally accredited.

Barnhart has just published “The Power of Hypnosis” along with a series of motivational and self-improvement CDs. Don has been delighting audiences with his stage presence since he was a young child and is today a sought-after performer boasting local, regional and worldwide fame as an accomplished hypnotist and comedian.

One of the biggest differences in Barnhart's Comedy Hypnosis Show is that Don is already an established award-winning headline comedian. Using his 20 years of comedy club experience along with his Second City Improv and Hypnosis skills, Barnhart guides his audience volunteers into the spotlight unleashing their hidden talents.

Before anyone comes on stage to be hypnotized, Barnhart opens the show with his hilarious comedy material putting the audience at ease. He then demonstrates that almost anyone can be hypnotized. He involves the entire audience in the untapped power of the mind by getting them to respond to suggestions in unison. Imagine hundreds of people gasping and turning to their neighbors in amazement. You really need to experience this to believe it. Afterwards, Don invites the audience on stage to share the spotlight and have some fun.

Barnhart's show is unscripted and stars the audience, so every performance is unique. Don’t worry though; his material is never “blue”. Don treats his audiences with respect and makes sure never to embarrass anyone. You will laugh hysterically as Don takes audience volunteers on a guided tour through their imaginations with HILARIOUS results! Additional Notes:
The Don Barnhart Comedy Hypnosis Show has performed at comedy clubs, cruise ships, private parties, fundraisers, post prom (high schools and colleges), outdoor festivals and more. The show can be set up with ease.

SOUND:

Professional sound system, suitable for the engagement contracted. To include: Professional sound engineer, or knowledgeable substitute, a suitable monitor system, one (1) mini jack cord for ipod plug in, one (1) pro handheld wireless microphone, one (1) back-up microphone (wireless OR hard wired w/ 50 ft. of cable) and one (1) upright mic stand.

1 (one) Stool or table.

LIGHTING:

1. Theatre - General stage lighting w/spotlight and operator
2. Ballroom - General house lighting(house up)

STAGING:

1. Theatre - Performance to take place in proscenium area of stage.
2. Ballroom - Secure stage, platform or riser with two (2) stair units securely placed in front. Stage/Platform to be set-up for optimal audience viewing.
3. Misc Venue: Contact for specific needs.

Minimum stage performance area 15(w) x 12(d)

GENERAL:

Access to stage performance area at least two (2) hours prior to show time for consultation with sound & light technicians for cues and with stage manager/hand for pre-set of props. Exact time to be discussed and approved in advance. One (1) hour requested.

Non-folding chairs for use in performance. Number of chairs to be determined per event.
