Dirty-Dirt McGurt is a solo Hip Hop/ R&B artist, both singer and rapper, who performs along with a group of male/female backing vocalists and rappers. Born and raised in Louisiana, his sound is uniquely Southern, but has been compared to artists such as Outkast, Ludacris, Chalie Boy, etc. with a blend of Rock, Country, and Jazz elements that are influenced by West Coast, California music. His lyrics are mostly clean and tell stories of the hardships and joys of everyday life and love, that almost anyone can relate to and understand. His life stage performances are high energy and full of character and display a full range of vocal stylings and techniques, along with catchy choruses and body moving beats.
He has performed at many venues around Southern California, throughout cities such as Anaheim, Los Angeles, Huntington Beach, Westminster, Beverly Hills, etc., as well as in Central Louisiana, where he originates from. He has opened up and/or shared the stage with artists such as Talib Kweli, Fat Joe, Lazy Bone, Hopsin, and The Brothers Johnson.
