About

Delaiah was established in August of 2011 by the band members Derek Price and Derick Hood. They both felt in their hearts that they were supposed to play music together. After going to a church event at River of Life Church in Hot Springs Arkansas, God spoke to them to play together and start writing music. Within two weeks, they had written over 7 songs. Both never were able to write lyrics, only music. Within this two week period, these seven songs were musically structured as well as had lyrics with them. The very first song that was written was called "Nations". Both Derek Price and Derick Hood fell in love with this song! After nations was written, along came the song simply titled "I love you" which was written at 2:30 a.m. on the couch of Derick Hood's house in Hot Springs. Immediately they too fell deeply passionate with this ballet. They both felt that this is how they feel about their Savior, Jesus Christ about how much he has done for them and also in the future events. For the longest time they were writing music and it was just them two until a man named Zach Howell came into the picture. All three came together and felt a deep connection between one another and knew that God had brought Zach in to the band to be the lead singer. Zach has brought ton's to the table with his strong vocals and deep relationship with Christ! We continue to write tunes and sing to our God that is above all, everything to us. Without God, in our lives we would not be here playing music and changing hearts of people.

We will be bring forth a time of great energy, power-house of music, great stage presence, and most importantly Jesus Christ!

Stage/Setup Requirements:
Just enough room to rock out for Jesus!

Additional Notes:
We will be playing places that has lighing, good stage room for awesome stage performance, as well as enough room out front to get into the music!
