David der Geist is a mentalist and mind reader, whose quick wit and disarming demeanor make him a frequently-requested performer for parties and special events. Or, if you like, his performances can take a darker turn, including incredible geek stunts and feats of escapology. David der Geist is both performer and scholar, mind reader and trickster. His performances are nothing short of astounding. He has studied with masters of spiritualism, alchemy, philosophy, comparative religion, neuro-linguistic programming, and Kaballah. He has served as spiritual adviser to renowned psychics. His amazing feats as a mentalist and mind reader have been enjoyed in various venues across the country, including Universal Studios and Busch Gardens.

When he’s not reading minds and making eerily accurate predictions, David likes to eat things that shouldn’t be eaten and stick pieces of metal into his head for others’ amusement and delight. Oh, and he also likes to light things on fire.

David is available for anything from house parties to corporate events, indoors and outdoors, for audiences of any size. His performances are designed for adults, and as such, he does not do children's parties.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 120 minutes

David's performances can range from close-up magic for a small, intimate gathering to a full mentalism stage show suited for any occasion. Audience members will come away amazed at what they have seen, and will remember your event as the unforgettable experience it was. David goes out of his way to mingle with guests prior to his performance in order to make them feel comfortable and ready to join him in an experience like none other. His shows feature tricks of the mind, eerily accurate predictions, and a lot of fun!

David's shows are highly adaptable for any kind of space. Larger spaces will require a microphone and stand, and in most cases a small table and a glass of water are all that he requires. More specialized performances may require other technical details. Please inquire if you have questions.
