The Daredevil Circus is "AWE SOME"!
I was introduced to the Daredevil Circus about two years ago. I met one of the perfomers through an art event, and later found out of the fire and acrobatic talents she also did. This caught my interest so I went to a show that the Daredevil Circus performed at. I was fasinated by the variety of acts and skills these ladies performed. They put on a great show!
One of the performers of The Daredevil Circus, Cassie Truskowski, had been looking for other acts to accompany them on a performance for Artprize 2010. I had made the suggestion of having my 11 year old son perform some martial arts, since he did animal forms and weaponry. She loved the idea and brought him aboard to participate in the show. My son joined them two Saturdays at the Artprize performance. He had a lot of fun and loved performing alongside the variety of acts that were brought together.
This year Cassie invited my son to partipate on stage again with the Dardevil Circus at The Eastown Street Fair 2011. He had a great time again. He again was the youngest of the performers being only 12. But each performer saw how serious he is about his martial arts and gave him great praises after his performance. He loves watching the acts of all the other performers as well.
I can say having my son perform with them has always been great. I look forward to seeing the Daredevil Circus perofrm, because they keep coming up with new and exciting acts within their show. I’ll end this with the answer my son gave me when I asked what he thought about the Daredevil Circus. In his own words, “I just have two words dad.... AWE.. SOME!!” lol
