Danne Farrell started learning to play the bag pipes in September 1994 with the "Caledonian Pipes and Drums of Buffalo". He purchased his first set of bag pipes in February 1997 and became a full-member with the band in May of that year. Danne played with the Caledonian Pipes and Drums from 1997 until September of 2008 when he switched over to the very talented and innovative pipe band "Celtic Spirit". Danne has played for numerous funerals and weddings and is the most sought after bag piper for funeral directors in Erie/Niagara Counties. His military-type playing style and presentation has earned him top placement at many funeral homes when families are looking for a bag piper.
