I have been part of the regional music scene for over 27 years. Based in Central Massachusetts, live music can be provided as solo or duet, or a 4-5 piece band. I can accommodate local radio and television events, private parties, corporate functions, weddings, ski resorts, casinos, birthday or Christmas parties, community events, conventions, country clubs, cruise ships, festivals, fundraisers, grand openings, hotels, resorts, restaurants, & reunions. A multi-song, professionally produced DVD demo is available by mail, free of charge, upon request.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 240 minutes

Stage/Setup Requirements:
Staging, small table, two performer stools

Additional Notes:
Staging should be a flat, level surface. Performers and equipment work best with 12' X 15' area. Any outdoor event needs to have a large, sturdy tent or canopy set up prior to performers' arrival.

CD music will be provided during breaks.

Set-up time can run up to 2 hours prior to the actual performance start time. Performer will need full access to the playing area, working electrical outlets, lights, and washroom facilities 2 hours prior to start. Purchaser or venue representative will meet performer upon arrival, and be able to answer questions pertaining to the performance if necessary.

Accessible parking for 2 cars will be needed close to playing area to allow for load-in/out.
Electrical requirements: Two (2) working, 3-prong type grounded outlets (minimum 120V). Venue or performance area shall be NON-SMOKING within 100 feet of performer.

Artist does not have people unknown to them %u201Csit-in%u201D, either instrumentally or vocally. We ask your and your guests understanding that our equipment insurance does not cover me if I allow non-authorized people to handle the instruments.
Purchaser agrees to have no other form of entertainment occurring simultaneously within earshot or visual sight of performance.

Purchaser and guests understand and should expect that music volume, while not unreasonably loud by any standards, is in line with the energy needed to capture the music accurately and allow performers to perform at their best per your purchase.

The agreement of band to perform is subject to proven detention by serious illness, weather, accident to personnel, equipment, or transportation, or other conditions beyond their control. In the case of an emergency cancellation on the part of performer, deposit and any collected monies shall be returned to purchaser. Should weather force postponement of the event, parties agree to reschedule, to the extent scheduling allows, under the same terms of this agreement at a mutually agreed-upon date.

Performer is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee. Performer will have exclusive control over the production, presentation, and performance of the engagement listed. The Purchaser assumes no liability for any withholding taxes, Social Security Contributions, Unemployment Insurance, Worker Compensation, or any payment and report of these.

Two (2) complimentary meals and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided to performers.

Financial compensation will be presented in person, discreetly in an envelope, on date of performance, following set-up but PRIOR to performance. Payment is acceptable by cash, money order, or bank check, or company check, payable to Dan Kirouac.
