Why hire The Code Blue Band?
The Code Blue Band is an intensely energetic force of showmen/musicians who put entertainment first at all costs. The addition of Lucia on vocal has popped our sound. Hey play a wide selection of songs with one main ingredient---'energy.' Getting people involved in the music, putting on a musical and visual show, and getting people to dance and have fun. We play R&B, funk, and rockin' blues, and have a large song list to accommodate the needs of the show. Can add songs for a particular gig. Our vocal expertise with four vocalists, is only outdone by our soloing, done with piano, B3 type organ, saxes, trumpet,flugelhorn, trombone, lapsteel, and acoustic and electric guitar.
Code Blue at the heart of the Ohio blues scene
I've been following this band for a few years now...and go out of my way to catch them across central OH. Like every band, players come and go, but Gary (on bass), Frank (on the skins) and Matt (on horn) have maintained a solid core that attracts some fo the finest guitar talent you can imagine (think Mike Dudley and Mark, whose last name I don't know!). Their St. Patrick's Day nite at Roop Brothers was...memorable!!

Code Blue/Pushers @ Farmers Insurance Agency Summit
I booked the "Pushers" edition of the Code Blue Band for a major state-wide agency event in May. The mix of funk/punk/blues/rock was awesome and had "something for everybody" in the mixed crowd. Throughout the nite I had fantastic feedback from the Farmers agents and employees attending, and coporate participants in the "vendor fair" asked me how to get in touch with them for their own events!
This band is professional, through and through. On-time, on-stage and totally on-targetr for this event. An incredible mix of talent and style. Go for it!

About
Code Blue corners the blues and blues rock market with their driving and powerful sound. It’s no accident that The Code Blue Band is one of the busiest bands around. They are crowd favorites and consistent winners at contests and festivals, super-charging R&B, funk, and rockin’ blues. They live beyond their slogan ‘We jump-start the rhythm’ and engage and connect the band and music with the crowd. Audiences rave that “Even slow songs they play have drive and power as well.”
Center Stage is newer vocalist Lucia, who adds sultry to our sound. On stage left is vocalist and our one-person horn section-- master of the sax, flugelhorn, and trumpet-- Matt "Jebus" Stuber, who astounds and titillates the crowd with his varying throaty and squealy blasts. Picking up and burning the lead guitar is Mike "Long Hammer" Dudley, another vocalist. Frank ‘Da Freak’ Lapinski of Youngstown pounds out the rhythms and adds his booming baritone vocals, assisted by Gary "The Enforcer" Mack, who carves out the low end with 7 string bass.

Influences
Bands are generally centered around one person in the group. In our case each member of the band is a featured performer. I really don't know anyone like that.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 300 minutes
Showmanship is of utmost importance to us. Depending on the gig's needs, we may launch out wirelessly into the audience, throw the keyboards around, involve the audience in songs--all while displaying a tight musical and visual product. We never act aloof or ignore the audience. We are there for them.

Vocal mikes for main vocalist, sax player, guitar player, drummer, instrument mikes for harmonica, guitar, sax, 4 drum mikes,
We can provide all of our own equipment for any sized event.
