I personally started playing in 6th grade. I just never gave up. I started composing my own music in 7th grade. It was when I played cello in church that i realized i have a knack for earplaying. (which is good cause I don't really do sheet-music)
I have incorporated things like a multi-pluck method, (three fingers in synchronized in pattern)and putting a strap on my cello and playing with a guitar pick. lol
It makes things interesting, and you'll see soon enough if you choose to meet up with me that I roll quite easily when adding my cello to other people's music.
I love my cello. It's always been there for me.
It's one thing in my life that isn't something I consider able to replace.
My love for music shows when I play. I play with the essential ingredient, LOVE.
I'm always ready for a challenge.

many improv sessions with many musicians, Lindsay Mac, celtic, jazz, country, heavy metal. various chordic and rhythmic oddities.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 120 minutes

Depends on the show, at a wedding, I keep them in a thinking and remembering happy days mentality. During a gig at a coffee shop, something sweet with a gentle groove. On the street corner, anything goes. When I challenge musicians I challenge them on their category, what they've got vs. what I've got. I'm always happy to accept defeat because it shows me where I need to improve and keeps me humble, although it still doesn't happen too often.
I suit my personality to my surrounding people.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
1 microphone, 1 microphone stand capable of bending down to the cello's soundholes, 1 low-medium height chair without armrests. That's all you need, add cellist (me) and you're done.

Additional Notes:
I need a working microphone with a stand that can bend down to the cello, and a low-medium height chair without armrests. I've got everything else I need with me. Payment required before the gig.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
What I play is of my own creation, I play what fits the occasion. If I don't have music for the occasion, I compose more.
