Hi! I’m Nicole—cellist, flutist, and conductor with a passion for helping people make meaningful music. I’m in my fourth year at Lawrence University studying Music Education and Cello Performance, and I love working with musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
I have hands-on experience conducting both large ensembles and small groups, performing in big concert venues, and playing with chamber duos and ensembles. I’ve even brought the hype at athletic events as part of pep band!

Nicole Frias is an Appleton- and Chicago-based cellist, flutist, and conductor studying Instrumental Music Education and Cello Performance at Lawrence University. She performs in a wide range of ensembles, from chamber groups to pit orchestras, and brings experience conducting both small and large ensembles. With a background across woodwinds, brass, and percussion, Nicole is adaptable for performances, collaborations, pit work, conducting services, and lessons.
