To listen to Charmaine belt out a song, is to hear her passion. Her emotional delivery is an expression of love through lyrics and rhythm. She is unique.

Growing up, Charmaine excelled in the arts. Writing songs has always been her strongest tool and her greatest creative outlet. “When I discovered that I could sing, I became obsessed with music, all kinds, from jazz to rock. I'm still obsessed with the art of music." says Charmaine. "It’s been my heart’s joy to write songs that touch people. As a little girl, I dreamt of being Tina Turner.” Charmaine says she will always be in pursuit of what she believes she is called to do, to serenade those who are willing to listen.

A singer, songwriter and artist in every sense of the word, it was only inevitable that this talented singer would immerse herself into the world of the performing arts as a career. Charmaine generously gives of her energy and sweet spirit when performing and has discovered how to touch a listener in a way that can be sincerely felt. "Inside of me lives a fine collection of songs and artists, that have inadvertently become who I am as a performer. Inside lives a soundtrack that tells my own personal story.”

This Soul enthusiast's inspiration for making music is far from just wanting to achieve material gain based on a familiar gimmick. "I enjoy what’s out there and I like what's popular but I love bands and I love live music. I wanted to create a collection of music that the best musicians from all around the world would want to hear and play. I selected talented Producer/Musicians that were able to help me invoke a certain old-school essence. I've been fortunate enough to work with some of New York's finest, creative talent.”she says.
