My now-husband and I decided a few hours before our wedding that we wanted a violinist for the ceremony. I found Cat on this site, gave her a call, and she agreed to be there three hours later for our wedding. She played just wonderfully and I was incredulous that she was ready with such short notice. In addition to violin performance, Catherine has also been building a name as a classical contemporary composer, mainly writing for strings. Her works have been performed on several stages and her own “Four Seasons” is set for debut and recording later this year.
What to Expect
For weddings, I will play one half-hour prior to the ceremony, as guests enter and are seated. My rate also includes the processional, recessional, and music as guests exit the area.
I am also available to play any requests you have for music during the ceremony, and the reception.
