Why hire Black Diamond?
Since their inception in 1990, Black Diamond has established themselves as one of the premiere bands in the Midwest country music history. Over the course of their stellar career, Black Diamond has shared the stage with countless country stars, gained icon status, with their 10 years of continuous performances at the Iowa State Fair, entertained hundreds of thousands of the Midwest greatest country music listeners and have become one of the Top Draw acts in the Midwest. The fun and camaraderie on stage is captured in the music and their performances, always provide a crowd-pleasing show!

In order to provide you with the best possible performance, we provide the following rider as an attached agreement to the contract.
The “Black Diamond” P.A. system is sufficient to cover most venues up to medium-sized grandstands and convention/concert halls. If more volume is required for your event, “Black Diamond” may need to hire additional sound reinforcement at your discretion and expense.
Load-in, set-up and sound-check time for “Black Diamond” takes approximately 3 hours. Please remember to schedule appropriately. Teardown and load-out takes approximately 1-½ hours. Purchaser will provide two (2) hands for load-in and load-out.
“Black Diamond” requires a minimum of one (1) separate 60 amp-220Volt electrical circuits (terminated with a 4-prong range outlets), at the stage, for the sound and lighting production.
* Minimum stage requirement is 16’ deep by 20’ long. Ideal size is 20’deep by 24’ long. The more, the better!
Purchaser is to provide an assortment of “iced” sodas and bottled water for “Black Diamond” and the crew. These “iced” beverages will be available from load-in thru load-out. We thank you for the alcoholic beverage offers, but we are working.
Purchaser to provide a clean and secure dressing room/area near the stage.
If your event is outdoors, we strongly suggest you: A) cover your stage; and B) provide yourself a rain site. Please contact Mark with “Black Diamond” if you have outdoor staging questions or concerns. Remember, “Black Diamond” does not play on a wet stage, and all dates are paid rain or shine!
When rooms are to be provided, “Black Diamond” requires, unless previously discussed, a minimum of 4 double rooms, as close to the show site as possible.
When providing meals, “Band & Crew” are approx. 8 -10 people. Arrangements need to be made for mealtime prior to arrival at your event. Please contact Mark with “Black Diamond” to make the arrangements.
When advertising for your event, please use “Black Diamond”, but please do not use “The Black Diamond Band” in your advertising text.
