The 1969 Band is a 10 piece horn band formed in 1980. They play some of the "better" hits of the '60s, 70's, 80's and 90's, from James Brown to the Beatles and from Frank Sinatra to Tony Bennett.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 240 - 300 minutes
The 1969 Band will take you on a musical trip down memory lane bringing back hits that made James Brown the "God Father of Soul". You'll hear songs by The Beatles....that won't let you be. You'll hear Lionel Richie mix it up with the Commodores....Ray Charles asking to " Unchain My Heart"...Bobby Darin talking 'bout " Mac the Knife". After they get your heart started, The 1969ers will move the music to a more mellow mood and bring back ballads made famous by Frank Sinatra like " Fly Me to the Moon" and " I've Got You Under My Skin". From there , it could be Nat King Cole with "Unforgettable" or Tony Bennett's " I Left My Heart in San Francisco".
From Van Morrison to Aretha Franklin to Sly and Family Stone, The 1969 Band will make your party one of the best times you've ever had.
Additional Notes:
The 1969 Band carries it's own lighting and PA system.Stage area needed is 16' x 30'. A contract with performance rider must be signed by purchaser .
