About
The Get Down headlined the 2026 Taste of Culver City and has already been asked to headline next year's event. We have performed at the West Adams Jazz Festival, the Seabird Jazz Lounge in Long Beach, and for many other private events.
We have a monthly Sunday afternoon residency at Hacienda Playa on Pershing Dr. in Playa Del Rey, CA. Check our website and IG for dates, and come catch us out!
The Get Down recently performed for a 100-person corporate event at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach. The reviews from both the event planning team and attendees were amazing.
Additional booking notes
The Get Down is flexible and can tailor production needs to fit your event. For smaller venues, we can perform with house sound and minimal staging. For larger events, we typically require:
Stage size: minimum 20’ x 12’ for full 12-piece band (smaller footprint possible with reduced lineup)
Professional sound system with mixing console and monitors (we can provide sound reinforcement upon request)
Stage lighting for evening/indoor performances (basic wash or spotlight is sufficient)
Power: standard electrical access with multiple 20-amp circuits
We also offer a self-contained package that includes sound, lighting, and production management for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Specific requirements will be confirmed based on the event size and band configuration.
