My name is Erin and I am the owner of Bar Genie. I have been bartending for ten years with six of those years being tending private events. My experience ranges from small gatherings of ten to weddings with 460 guests. I take pride in every event that I am a part of, and truly treat it as if it were an event of my own. You get what you pay for
I will be honest and say that Bar Genie was not my first choice because of a review about the liquor estimates being off plus Bar Genie was $5 more an hour. I will leave the company nameless but I hired 3 bartenders from another company that I found on this website. They were a hosts worse nightmare. One bartender was perfect, but the other two were terrible. One showed up late, and the other was sloppily dressed and to boot, he was drunk 2 hours into the 6 hour event. I kicked them out and reached out to Erin. She and another bartender were at the venue within the hour. They even brought a portable bar. As soon as she walked behind the bar already sat up, she immediately informed me that I did not have enough alcohol or, of all things, ice. Because of the review about her liquor estimates, I was sceptical but all of her estimates were dead on by the end of the event. Their personalities were just the cherry on top. All 323 guests were very satisfied.

Despite a cheaper quote; from the first conversation, I was very comfortable with Erin. My party was two months from that conversation, and she stayed in constant contact with me up to the day of my event. I hired her for a martini party, but had no idea how much work she was going to put in. She organized the order the martinis would be sampled in and even what order they should be in so to "balance our palates". I mean this was not just a martini party to her. It was a production! My guests were blown away. I have already referred at least 6 people to her and can't wait to tell more!

About
I have a degree in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism, but I just could not give up bartending. Growing up I wanted to be a psychologist and an event planner, so I guess it makes sense. After years of working in bars and nightclubs, I was tired of that environment, but was not cut out for an office job.....so I started this business. Thanks to all of the positive and negative things that I learned from the bar industry, along with the customer service skills acquired from countless customer service jobs, combined with a lot of imagination; I have made my company what it is today.
If you are simply looking for a bartender to serve beer and wine, or, if you are looking to pull out all of the stops. I have something unique for every budget. I understand that we don't all have thousands of dollars to make our event what we imagine, but we all deserve to have a quality event with quality service. I am a firm believer that the perfect drink menu and phenomenal bartender can help set the tone for the occasion. Some of you are entertaining clients, and some of you are just looking spend a warm evening with a few loved ones. No matter what the occasion; your celebration deserves a bartender that delivers exceptional service from beginning to end.
There are many people in this profession, but there are three things that set my company apart; personality, creativity, and the understanding that there is a difference between tending at a bar and tending a private party.

I have heard so many horror stories about so called bartenders who have single handedly ruined their clients events. My goal is to not only meet, but exceed your expectations.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 180 - 720 minutes
We bring our own equipment. You will need to provide the alcohol, but I do provide garnishes free of charge in most cases. If you would like me to provide the mixers; that can be arranged as well. I also have a portable bar that lights up in 16 different colors, perfect for any event that has a theme color, or if you would like, I can turn the lights off all together. We provide superior service and personality that is out of this world which is very important when pleasing your guests.
We have no problem cleaning up and putting everything back in the order in which it was found.
