Balefire is a Fire Performance collective. Muse Catchfire (Savannah) specializes in fire poi and hoop. Woad (Atlanta) is a fire eater and fire staff aficionado. LED tools are available when fire props are not an option. We are available for performances both public and private.

Amazing Fire Performance
He performed for my 30th birthday party. I wanted to have performers who were different. Something my guests had not seen before. He was amazing! Extremely professional and entertaining! Would definitely recommend him if you are looking for something fun and different to do at your event.

About
Founded by the gorgeous Alexandra Mitchell and Eric Reber, we collaborate to fill a very specialized need in the performance community. We are insured and trained to bring fire to the events of the southeast. We may also be engaging in self-proscribed therapy for serious cases of pyromania. So if you see gleeful tattooed freaks dancing with fire while out and about in Georgia, say hi! But please stay at least 12 feet away from the flames.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 30 minutes
We can be the main event or atmospheric additions for your entertainment.
If we are the main event a single fire dancing set lasts roughly 15-30 minutes. We can run longer if we are tag teaming, shorter if you want more than 1 of us burning at a time.
If we are atmospheric we will spin in the background of your event adding the element of fire to your soiree. We are not traditional Polynesian performers. We do, however, provide thematic costuming to entertain at Luaus.
Scheduling confirmation upon receipt of signed contract and $50 deposit.
Stage/Setup Requirements:
15 feet of clearance around and above fire performer. Add 10 feet of area for each performer you would lile performing together at the same time.
All permits and and permissions with the local fire marshall to be obtained by booking party.
Additional Notes:
For fire performances we require a minimum of 15 square feet of ground and 15 feet of clearance above to utilize our fire tools (more if you want more than 1 performer at a time).
We need another small area where we can keep our tools and fuel for preparation reasons.
We need to know if you have a sound system and what sort of format we need to bring our music (CDs, MPEGs, MP3, etc).
We always bring an additional person to act as a safety and crowd control so we can prevent accidents.
*If this is a public event, it is the responsibility of the booking agent to ensure all of the appropriate city permits and clearances with the local fire marshal are in place before we perform.
Set/Song/Sequence List:
A typical fire set is anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes with members alternating solo performances and we usually end on a duet burn.
