A veteran US Army paratrooper and medical evacuation helicopter pilot, I know that leadership is the difference maker and the deal breaker. It’s how we grow organizations. It’s how we impact lives. Leadership is not something we just talk about; we must live it.
I've taught workshops, seminars, and done keynote speaking in higher education and business arenas around the globe bringing my clients entertaining, yet truthful leadership principles that help them to open their eyes to self-created barriers and inspiring them to bold action.

When I present to your group, I'll tailor what I say and how I say it to your audience. After you accept my proposal, we'll have a short call where we'll have a conversation regarding your specific needs, i.e. what you want the audience to learn or walk away thinking about, the amount of time I'll speak vs time for Q&A, if any...those kinds of things. The focus is not on me ... it's on your group!
Annie S Brock is President and CEO of the Leader Transition Institute. One of the first 100 women assigned to the 82d Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, she graduated from the Jumpmaster Course, earned her Senior Parachutist Badge, and received a Direct Commission to the Medical Service Corps, becoming a medevac helicopter pilot, flying Hueys and Blackhawks. She has been the owner of several small businesses, to include as a Mary Kay Sales Director where she earned the privilege of driving a free company automobile. A military spouse based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area, Annie homeschooled two daughters during moves across the US and Europe.
As an international speaker and coach, Annie brings a unique perspective of leadership strategy to her clients. She is an Independent Executive Director and Member of the President’s Advisory Council of the John Maxwell Team, and an Ambassador and Speaker for the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education. She serves as the Transition Assistance Liaison for the Maryland Council of the Military Officers Association of America, and is a past Chair of the Harford County Commission on Veterans’ Affairs. Annie earned a Master of Professional Studies in Public Leadership at The George Washington University, and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Her accolades include Woman Veteran of the Year Maryland Military & Veteran Business Conference (2015), the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Public Service Award.
The Leader Transition Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization that prepares people and walks beside them as they make pivots in their lives, helping them to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
I'm very comfortable presenting remotely, with or without a slide presentation. If I present in person, you'll need to provide the A/V equipment and someone to operate it. I very much prefer a wireless microphone. I don't like being stuck at a podium ... and the audience really doesn't like it, either.
