Overview

I am a singer and pianist who has been classically trained in both areas and I play for occasions of all kinds. Whether you are interested in a performer to be in the spotlight or someone to just play background music, I can serve in either role. Sight-reading music is a strength of mine, so if you need a last minute musician I can handle that easily! I have experience as a performer on cruise ships and experience leading worship for many churches - which both entail working with and leading ever-changing bands. I am a very easy-going person and will do my very best to help as much as I can and not add any stress for your event.

Annabel was wonderful! We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday. She was a great piano player and loved to sing show tunes. We provided my mom's music to Annabel on a short notice. Wow! Annabel is an easy going professional that we all enjoyed! Annabel, you are spectacular!

What to expect

I have a few different styles that I can provide. Usually, my performance would be great for background music at a restaurant. I have also done many weddings - playing for the ceremony as well as cocktail hour. I love to sing jazz as well as anything popular that people would be familiar with.

About

Music became a part of my life early on - starting piano lessons when I was five years old. I grew up playing piano and singing in church and learning how to engage the congregation and lead them in musical worship. I was able to study with several esteemed pianists throughout my lessons as a child up through my college years and was also able to take voice lessons with wonderful teachers. At John Brown University I studied for a degree in Worship Arts (which included much piano and vocal training). I then spent some time teaching privately in the Northwest Arkansas area before working as a show band vocalist and keyboardist for a couple of cruise ship contracts and now live in Sherwood, Arkansas where I am a contract musician leading worship for several churches and accompanying for a local high school choir.

Additional booking notes

I am very easy-going as far as setup goes. If it is a solo, I will only need space for myself, my keyboard, maybe a microphone, and my amplifier.
