About
Amadeus String Ensembles was formed in 1984 in Denver, Colorado, by Ellen J., a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance graduate of UNC. She has been a member of The Greeley Philharmonic, Ft. Collins Symphony, Montovani Orchestra, and subbed with the Cheyenne Symphony, Denver Chamber Orchestra, The Denver Symphony (now the Colorado Symphony) and the house strolling violinist for 10 years at former Five Star Restaurant, Cliff Young's in Denver.
The group's past and present members all have college training in music and have performed with professional and semi-professional orchestras in the Colorado region, and even as far as Manchester, England.
Amadeus String Ensembles offers all types of string ensembles, including quartets, trios, duos, quartets with trumpet, trios with trumpet, duos with trumpet, violin/cello duos, violin/guitar duos, and violin and piano duos. Our primary repertory is classical music, but the guitar/violin and piano/violin offers more contemporary music. We also have all the traditional Christmas music, Ragtime, and more. We offer music for Jewish ceremonies, Catholic ceremonies, and all denominations. We even offer Mariachis. Call us now for our low and negotiable rates. Influences
We have been inluenced by many famous artists and our teachers and our conductors, including Harold Wippler, former concertmaster of the Denver Symphony, who started the career of the 1974 Tchaikovsky Violin Competition winner, Eugene Fodor, and Norman Greenhouse, of the Colorado Air Force Academy strolling strings, and Howard Skinner, former conductor of the Greeley Philharmonic.

Client must provide chairs without arms.
Additional Notes:
Please inform musicians ahead of time if they will need lighting. We can bring stand lights if necessary, but prefer the client provide lighting. We must have protection from rain or mist. Let us know ahead of time and we will rent a canopy if we are reimbursed. If outdoors, please provide bug repellant if in the mountains.
