About

Aerial Elegance is a small troupe of dedicated aerialist's & dancers that have worked hard to translate the principals of ballet, lyrical & modern dance onto aerial & circus apparatus. Aerial Elegance was founded by Lori Martin in late 2010. Lori has extensively studied aerial arts for 3 years & found herself wanting to be able to present MORE then just circus-styled tricks to an audience during a performance. Lori's ballet & modern dance background & love of free, fluid movement helped her develop the now signature Aerial Elegance style.

In 2011, Lori combined forces with Jessica Reynolds of Aerial Dragonfly studio, and together they are changing the face of aerial entertainment in Michigan. They have developed a customizable program for performances on static trapeze, lyra (aerial hoop) and aerial tissu (silks) as well as vertical barre (pole).

Anyone that is scheduling a performance with Aerial Elegance can expect a keen eye for detail & an enthusiastic, professional attitude throughout their event. From pre-performance site checks to after-event care, we strive to give our clients the highest standard of quality that they've come to expect with the Aerial Elegance name.

From music style to make-up & costume colors, Aerial Elegance is proud to offer numerous performance options to its clientele; including single & multi-apparatus performances, performed singularily OR simultaneously! Not ready for active entertainment? We are able to blend into the background & add that certain something to your event by providing a gentler, ambient low-key performance style as well.
