Price Range: Negotiable
According to her adoption paperwork, AeKyung Yoo was born in Seoul, South Korea. She was adopted at approximately 1-1/2 years of age and was raised in the Midwestern area of the United States of America. She has yet to return to her country of origin, however, has hopes to return in the near future. While life’s circumstances only allowed her to study until her junior year of undergrad, she studied Theology and Business Management at Oakwood College (1998) in Huntsville, Alabama USA.
Since her time of studies; she has cultivated what she has learned both inside the classroom of college and the classroom of life in her personal relationship with God, as well as utilized her talents in various management positions throughout her corporate career. AeKyung Yoo has dedicated her life to learning what it truly means to be a Korean-American Adoptee and has embraced all the mixed emotions and state of affairs that come along with the condition. She has spent the past ten years of her life advocating the importance of Cultural Diversity and the Awareness of the complexity of adoption, especially concerning International Adoption, by way of performance as a Spoken Word Artist.
Among a few of many things, AeKyung Yoo enjoys reading, playing billiards, and wine-tasting when she is not creating or being too overly-analytical. She currently resides in New York City, New York USA, where she is writing her first screenplay, and acting with her primary focus in film. Although, her passion will always remain her first advocating via-spoken word when asked and not asked!
