An entertaining "fun" band, we have a song for everyone , Oldies (50s Rockn' Roll, 60's, 70's), Classic Country (40-70s), Bluegrass, Texas Swing, Gypsy/Jazz, Big Band Swing, Tijuana Brass, Sinatra Rat Pack and more.
We play Weddings, Anniversaries, Bars, Music Clubs, Fund Raisers, Festivals, Private & Corp Parties.
We mix Holiday music with regular music for Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, Dingus Day, Cinco De Mayo, and October Fest events.
We also play shows for Town Band Shells, Fairs, Fine Arts Groups, and Ethnic Festivals playing Italian, Irish, Spanish, Balkan, Greek, Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Gypsy, Mexican, Caribbean and Klezmer.
We are an all acoustic band - not too loud.

River City Strings was officially formed in 2019, but three of the members are not strangers to each other. MIke & Rudy (brothers), and Norb.... playing together from 1970 to 1988 in the band Niagara.... have been reunited in River City Strings. The fourth member of the band is Phil .... who studied bass viola at Canisius College, Buffalo, NY. Phil has played with Mike and Rudy on and off since 2009 prior to joining River City Strings. Phil has played many genres of music over the years and plays electric bass as well.
Mike and Phil form the backbone of River City Strings...playing the variety of rhythms required for the songs the band plays. Rudy plays the leads and Norb ties it all together with his acoustic bass guitar.
