Adderesound is the first musical group self-catalogued as Mexican Fusion comprised of top musicians from Mexico and New York City.
Rudyck Vidal and Marilyn Castillo started this group in Mexico in 2011 and transferred to the Big Apple in 2014 and have played their music around the latino pop, jazz and folklore music scene in New York and abroad ever since.
From enhancing “Las Inmortales de la Epoca de Oro” (“The inmortal songs of the golden age”) of Hispano-American countries with refreshing arrangements, Adderesound’s original compositions -from ballads, chilenas from Guerrero, Cuban sones and norteñas- portray different settings and take the listeners to different regions and times of Mexico and other parts of the World. They use theatrical elements in their performance and keep the audience engaged in a fun and interesting way that is delightful to watch and listen to.
Adderesound has performed in events from jazz festivals in Mexico and venues all around New York City
from public libraries, jazz and experimental venues and most recently at the Frida Kahlo Exposition in Brooklyn Museum.
Their first album "Cómo Le Hizo?" is in all digital platforms and they are currently working on a second album produced in New York City.
