About

I have been playing music in one capacity or another for 40 years. I perform solo acoustic guitar and piano vocal songs as well as some classical instrumentals. I can tailor sets to include a variety of material fit for most any occasion. I have a portable sound system, (PA) that is adequate for small venues (200-300 people), and am very proficient with sound reinforcement equipment should it be necessary for me to operate a "house" system. As often as possible I like to bring in other guest artists to enhance the show. I have beeen performing for many years and am quite at home playing a wide range of styles for a wide range of audiences. I offer a somewhat different variety of music compared to the solo acts i have seen in recent years. I feel this is something that tends to set my performance apart form many others. I like to include original song material as well in the show, when and where it is appropriate.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 180 minutes

When I perform I try to play many of the songs as close to the original version, as I can. Sometimes it is necessary to adapt the song for the solo acoustic environment, in doing so I have come up with my own version of certain songs. Betweeen the guitar, harmonica and piano the aidience is in for a large variety of material and sounds. Often times the audience gets involved by singing along.

Additional Notes:
I Have Pa system with stage monitors that is adequate for smaller venues, and private parties.I have 30 years performing in three and four piece rock ensembles, and have recently decided to work on a solo acoustic guitar, pian, harmonica, etc. act with occasional guest performers.
