4 THE RECORD began as a concept, "to form a professional vocal band that combines great talent, energy, and charisma, into an overall entertainment experience for audiences in the Midwest and across the country."

Since the groups formation in Spring 2009, they have produced a full-length self-titled CD! They have shared the stage/performed at events featuring internationally renowned a cappella greats such as Rockapella's Scott Leonard, Germany's Vocaldente, contemporary a cappella touring phenom-Boston's Ball in the House, Blue Jupiter from New York City, Puerto Rico's NOTA, winner of the hit NBC television show "The Singoff," and European beat box champion Fii.

The formation of the group was inspired through close working relationships and advice from internationally renowned vocalists and touring groups Vocaldente, from Hannover, Germany, Blue Jupiter from New York, NY; and many others they have met and performed with while touring, attending festivals, seminars, and concerts over the past 3 to 5 years.

4 THE RECORD delivers a high energy, unique musical experience to audiences of all ages. The group performs unique arrangements of cover songs from mega hit stars spanning four decades such as The Beatles, Ike & Tina Turner, Usher, Boyz II Men, Michael Buble, Wham!, Aretha Franklin, Sugarland, Johnny Nash, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Little Big Town, The Manhattan Transfer, Orleans, Journey, Dream Academy, The Eurythmics, Sting, Los Lonely Boys, Corey Hart and many more. 4 THE RECORD's music brings a cappella into modern day.

Arrangements combine unique vocalizations, harmonies, and percussive sounds to recreate the intricate notes and beats of popular hits everyone knows and loves, all without the use of any percussion, strings, brass, wood wind, or electronically powered instruments.

4 THE RECORD performs has performed in cities and small towns throughout Ohio, the Midwest and beyond. The group has peformed in every possible venue from large concert halls to small coffee shops. 4 The Record is available for school functions, colleges & universities, concert halls, amphitheatres, fairs & festivals, corporate events, non profit functions, wedding receptions, private parties, reunions & alumni events, restaurants, coffee houses, and a host of entertainment venues and events throughout the state of Ohio, the Great Lakes region, and beyond.

Members of 4 THE RECORD include: Kiersten Bowmer, soprano; Brittany Roszman, alto; John Garnes, tenor; Wayne Rowe, baritone; Michael Frankart, Bass; and Kevin Child, vocal persussionist.

4 THE RECORD is a tight knit group, which comes through in their music. Concerts are an entertainment experience. No instruments, no gimmicks...just the human voice.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 75 minutes

The audience will experience unique a cappella arrangements of radio hits from the past 4 decades. The music is full of tight harmonies and backing vocals that imulate instrumental sounds from drums, guitar, piano, brass, and more.

Only one instrument is used in the group, and that is the world's most versatile and complex...the human voice.

The group covers songs by groups/performers such as Journey, Adele, Ike & Tina Turner, Wham, Phil Collins, Uncle Cracker, Johnny Nash, Sugarland, Katy Perry, The Manhattan Transfer, The Eurythmics, Usher, Little Big Town, and much more! The biggest concentration of music is from the modern pop/rock era, 1972-today.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
1 hour for sound equipment set-up and sound check prior to arrival of your guests
12 bottles of water at room temparature
A secure secluded dedicated space to warm-up prior to the performance
Access to ample power supply if need to utilize our sound system

Additional Notes:
Access to ample electrical supply and a minimum space/stage area of 24' wide by 6'-10' deep. Please allow 1 hour prior to opening the doors to the performance for equipment set-up and sound check.
