Mobile Zoo of Southern California is a mobile animal rental service that has been making 1000's of people happy since 1990! We offer petting zoos, cool critter shows and reptile shows for any event. We service Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley, as well as all Los Angeles areas. We carry full liability insurance as well as USDA licensing. We offer animals for schools, private birthdays, senior facilities, resorts, libraries, movie sets and more!

We enjoyed having Mobile Zoo of Southern California be the entertainment for our party. The service was great. The animals were well behaved. Everything was done in an orderly fashion and very clean.

The children loved the animal show that Mobile Zoo performed at our school. The handlers were kind and patient and very knowledgeable about all the animals they displayed. I am very pleased with Mobile Zoo an look forward to having them come to our school many more times.

My daughter turned 8 and wanted a animal show where she could hold and pet some cuddly creatures. MobileZoo did an amazing job. She showed up on time and left no mess. The presenter was the owner and she was wonderful with both the animals and the kids. She brought out 9 different animals- a beautiful bird, bunny, chinchilla, hedgehog, guinea pig, bearded dragon, tortoise, snake, spider, iguana, and one more I think! Would totally hire them again.

February 23, 2026The Best Mobile Petting Zoo
We had an amazing experience. Daniel was kind, fun, quick in his set up, and very knowledgeable about the animals. We had a wonderful time getting to know each of the animals and learning their story. The kids in our family, ages 2 up to 16, enjoyed visiting, holding and feeding the animals. Thanks for everything!

We had this for my daughter's 12th birthday party. She and her friends loved it! Good mix of animals and plenty of time to hang out with their favorites. Highly recommend:)

About
Mobile Zoo of Southern California offers a full petting zoo that includes Pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, Guinea Pigs, rabbits, tortoise and a mini pig. Every petting zoo has Tiki umbrellas for shade, a hand sanitizing station and a friendly safari uniformed attendant. We also offer hand led pony rides for kids up to 70 lbs. Our reptile shows include various snakes, lizards and tortoises in an exciting 1 hr educational show. Our most recent addition is the Cool Critter Show. It includes a ferret, hedgehog, chinchilla, tarantula, parrot, python, tortoise, iguana, guinea pig and bunny. We service Coachella Valley, Palm Springs, Riverside, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, and Indio. We are pleased to announce the addition of the reptile shows and petting zoos to the Los Angeles area.
