Zhanté is a Washington, DC area native, singer, songwriter, classically trained vocalist and actress. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from The New School, Mannes College in New York City after graduating from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC. Zhanté started singing when she was 3 years old and has performed at various events at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Theater and the Washington Cathedral.
After graduating from college she moved to Atlanta and started her own band. She continues to perform with her band in the Atlanta area.
