Zaina is a Master of all Bellydancing Arts, with eighteen (18) years experience including Egyptian, Turkish, Levantine as well as Folkloric styles from Egypt, Iran, Morocco, Iraq, also with cabaret props (sword, wings, cymbals, cane/staff, veil, fan veils, etc.
Zaina performs Ten (10) unique Fire Acts as a full Pyro Artist!
Zaina also offers Classical & Modern Bollywood Dancing, Hawaiian Hula, Brasilian Samba, Caribbean Soca, and various dance styles from the African Diaspora.
Zaina Zahra World Dance serves Metro Atlanta and travels internationally by request. Should you require more than one artist, Zaina can hire additional artists to suit your needs, including circus performers.

About

Zaina Zahra is the best as her training and expertise exceeds that of her competition. With eighteen (18) years experience as a professional, Zaina has studied with premier artists in Egyptian, Middle Eastern and Oryantal Dance, Iranian Dance, Moroccan Dance, Iraqi and Gulf Dance, Folkloric Egyptian Dance, Brasilian Dance, Polynesian Dance (Hula), and has received formal training in Classical Indian Dance. She has traveled to Egypt to study with legendary Tito Seif, Randa Kamel, Mohamed Shahin and Aziza of Cairo. She has studied Hula with Willow Chang of Hawaii, and Samba with the great Alex de'Coutinho of Rio, Jazzara Baptiste, and Dandara O'Dara of Bahia, to name a few. Zaina also performs various authentic cultural dance styles from the African Diaspora, including the Yanvalou, the Swahili Taarab & Chakacha, as well as modern dances like Makossa & parody of the Fela Kuti movement.
Zaina has mastered her unique ability to interpret dance from a variety of cultures, and her amicable charm is what makes any audience simply love her shows. Her unique skill-set Zaina has has bestowed upon her the opportunity and honor of performing for several international and national celebrities, and has been featured on television programs, reality shows, and in nationally syndicated music videos including: Live with Kelly and Michael, T.I. and Tiny's Family Hustle (VH1), Little Women (Lifetime), The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo), Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta (VH1), Selling in the ATL (BET), Ready to Love (OWN), 2Fat2Fly (OWN), Craziest Restaurants in the World (Food Network). Music videos for Artists such as Guy Sebastian & Two Chainz, Sisqo & Waka Flocka, Yung Joc, Lil Wayne, Migos, Bentley Fortune, etc. In 2022 Zaina Zahra opened the concert for Ehab Tawfik, Egypt's number one singer, and for Hadi Aswad, star of Lebanon and the Levant, both in Houston TX Galleria District.
Zaina provides the most professional costumes, music selections appropriate to the performance, and in depth knowledge of the cultures involved in her dance artistry. Not only will you enjoy her performance, but you are bound to learn something unique about a new culture and way of life.
Zaina has earned a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University in History, can speak and write on an intermediate level in Arabic, as well as understand elements of Turkish, Hindi, and Farsi which can be seen expressed in her performances.
Zaina does NOT perform at all male events as her art form is to be appreciated in an intelligent and respectable manner.

Sound projection device is required in order to play music for performances. I will provide either a Ipod/Mp3 player, CD, or emailed Mp3 files in advance to client or designated Disc jockey.
