Zaeskee Alazae, born Albert Whitehead, is a Chicago West Side–born recording artist, producer, audio engineer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and founder of Beat Accountants whose career has been defined by one mission: create music that sounds like nobody else.
Rooted in a musical church family, Zaeskee discovered his connection to music at an early age, developing his skills on piano, organ, drums, and percussion. His professional journey began in Chicago with Practice Makes Perfect (P.M.P.), leading to opportunities with Rawdope Records, Private I Records, and connections to the Chicago Hip-Hop community that included Crucial Conflict, Do or Die, and Rap-A-Lot Records. His journey eventually connected him with artists and industry figures including Belo, Gotti, Scarface, Mike Dean, and others.
But Zaeskee's story is not limited to performing.
He evolved into a producer, songwriter, and audio engineer, learning to build records from the ground up—from the first idea and production to songwriting, recording, arrangement, mixing, and final presentation. His work has also extended into television and sync opportunities, with music connected to programming associated with OWN Network, Dr. Phil, and Dr. Oz.
In 2019, Zaeskee founded Beat Accountants, transforming his years of experience into a platform focused on music production, songwriting, recording, engineering, artist development, independent music strategy, and creative ownership.
His creative philosophy eventually became Comic Soul—a genre-bending sound that brings together Alternative R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Afro Pop, Gospel, Funk, House, and Pop. Rather than following musical trends, Zaeskee believes an artist's greatest asset is an authentic sonic identity.
That philosophy came to life through the Belly Gang movement.
Released in 2022, Belly Gang became an important chapter in Zaeskee's independent career, producing records such as “Big Boy Luv,” “Feel It Kill It,” “Drug Addic,” “Cloud Soaring,” and “Fly Spur.” His independent campaign generated significant chart and radio activity, including “Big Boy Luv” reaching #1 on the Digital Radio Tracker Global Top 150 Independent Airplay Chart and the Belly Gang project achieving major iTunes R&B/Soul chart success.
Zaeskee has continued building the movement through an expanding catalog of collaborations and releases, including work with ReUp Ty, Never, Keshia Kash, Big IL, DaWeirdo, Ryan Alexander, Skiter Weez, Sisi Dior, Ayoo KD, TroubleNDaFlesh, Will Gamble The Plug7, Johnni Demetri, R.I.G., and others.
In 2023, Zaeskee reached another notable milestone when he was promoted in connection with the Turn Up Jam at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, an event featuring artists including Jeezy, Boosie Badazz, and Big Boogie.
In 2026, another major chapter opened when Zaeskee joined the Recording Academy's 2026 New Member Class, marking recognition of his continuing contribution as an independent recording artist, producer, engineer, songwriter, and music professional.
Today, Zaeskee Alazae represents more than an artist name.
It represents a philosophy.
