Overview
The award winning YOGOMAN Burning Band has been a Northwest celebration dance band since 2005, playing weddings and private parties from Seattle to New Orleans. Lead singing drummer Jordan Rain/Yogoman conducts his group from the drum set with panache, engaging crowds of all-ages onto the dance floor with sing a longs and call and response lyrics. Unlike many Wedding bands made up of random for hire musicians, YOGOMAN is an original touring dance band from Seattle area that also play great festival stages such as Burning Man and Reggae On The River (80,000 attendees each) and have released 7 original albums. They are the real deal, and true artists dedicated to their craft.

Yogoman far exceeded our expectations, what a fun evening! Great communication with Jordan leading up to the event, super professional, showed up on time and played some sick dub/reggae/ska hits!! I would definitely book them again, we danced for hours. Big shout out to Buck, he definitely stole the show!!

Jordan, a.k.a Yogoman and his band were terrific at our party! They are great musicians with a super fun, danceable, original sound. Our guests loved them and having them play at our event really livened things up. Jordan was great to work with on the details leading up to our event as well. I highly recommend Yogoman!!!

March 2, 2020The many incarnations of Yogoman
I have seen Yogoman playing with anything from a duo all the way up to a six or seven piece band. They have always all been amazing! The music runs deep in Jordan. He has a particular affinity for reggae and dubstep making it feel as though you are ona beach in Jamaica. It’s always great dance music.
As far as Yogoman DJ his collection of vintage vinyl is simply amazing.

I had the distinct pleasure of hosting Yogoman Burning Band at our home in WY. We were able to plan a stop in our town on their way to the next show! I’ve been a YBB fan for many years. Jordan Rain has been a positive and welcoming force in Bellingham!
Needless to say, the crowd was huge and the entire band made everyone feel part of the band. They are lively and fun, and above all, they’re very talented! I can’t imagine a more perfect band to choose for any party, or wedding.

I went to the best wedding ever in Joshua tree. The setting was unreal, right up against the red buttes. During dinner Jac and Jordan played the sweetest set while everyone ate. Later on, Jordan and Jac did an EPIC DJ set under the stars. Truly amazing choices in vinyl! I have also seen Yogoman Burning Band on several occasions over the years and they are awesome too. Very hard not to dance to. If I were putting on a wedding, I would hire Jordan and Jac in all three capacities, duo for dinner, band for dance, and late night DJ set. I bet they’d even give me a group discount! The bonus can sometimes be that their unforgettable little 5 year old son will get up on stage and perform 😀

Jordan Rain is a vinyl DJ as Deejay Yogoman since 1999 and band leader, drummer and lead singer of his Jamaica-New Orleans Dance band YOGOMAN since 2005. Rain has built up multiple successful nights as a deejay bringing in record numbers of people at his Soul and Reggae music nights at multiple music venues. As a band, Rain has written, arranged and self produced 4 studio albums with his live group YOGOMAN, who have played thousands of concerts, toured nationally and internationally and been the featured band at hundreds of venues, weddings and private events since their inception. YOGOMAN is known for bringing a fun, dance-able concert that gets people moving, interacts with the crowd and consistently keeps a smile on the face of their audience.
