My performance style is heavily reliant on storytelling. I like to introduce the music and bring the audience into the world I've created. Sprinkle in corny jokes, expressive facial reactions, light dancing, English and Spanish lyrics, catchy melodies, and powerful vocals and you're probably at one of my shows,

Yesi Rodriguez’s musical journey began in 2014 with the release of her debut singles, “Dreams or Love” and “Something about Love,” inspired by her childhood idol Selena Quintanilla. A pivotal encounter with engineer Julio “Chino” Moreno, who had worked with Quintanilla, propelled Rodriguez toward a destiny in music.

“Dreams or Love” was featured in the Peruvian film “La Academia,” where Rodriguez also starred as the female lead, amplifying her recognition across various media platforms and even independent film circuits. As she continued to release music, her performances at renowned venues and festivals in New York City and New Jersey, including Breaking Sound, Major Stage, SOBs, and Brooklyn Wildlife Summer Festival, solidified her reputation as a performer.

Now, in 2024, Rodriguez is ready to release her debut album, “Descubierta,” collaborating with acclaimed producers, and navigating themes of romantic hardships, self-exploration, and the cycle of abuse, all infused with her signature blend of Latin Pop, Dark Pop, and reggaeton influences. This project promises a universal appeal that transcends boundaries and cements her status as a rising star in the music industry.

I always bring a vocal monitor and need one for every performance. Mic packs that connect to my in-ears are also very appreciated. I can perform with tracks, my guitar player (if available and for an additional fee) or a band of your choosing.
