Years of the Songs

I would give a 100 percent performance. If I play the two hours I wouldn't set or take any breaks. (Water break, bathroom break) I would rest my voice with instrumental jams. There wouldn't be any dead silence as that is very irritating. I would make it fun. Play my wireless guitar out in crowd with you or whatever gets you into the music. Because it's for you not me. I play many styles. Christian ,rock,country, pop, techno, I'll make up new songs right on the spot. I'll make a song dedicated just to you if you want.
I just want to make it a great time for you. As I'm not the best singer or performer in the world. But not every group out there has great singers or musicians. I will do cover songs and take requests. As I will try to them . All in all I will give you best I can do.

Hello I am Barry Rice from the one-man-band Years of the Songs. I have wrote and recorded many songs over the years. I have experience playing live. As I have a few times. I have a passion for music to write it. To play it live is what I really love. As I started this musical journey many years ago. I started it in the mid 1980's with my cousin writing our first songs. We had recorded those songs onto a cassette recorder. As we graduated from school got jobs ,went our separate ways. I kept with music through the years. I kept writing songs. Then in 1998 got serious and entered my a song into a song contest. As I learned from the judges how to write better songs. As the years went on, I just kept on trying to score with music publishers or anything to catch my first break into the big leagues. As I know that was very difficult. I just kept on as an independent artist on Reverbnation for the last eight years on that. Then just recently have had the itch to play live with my music. As I have recorded several u tube videos of live versions of my songs. It just wasn't live enough for me. As just recently played my first live gig ,in front of an audience. It was at a open mike night. Which I was nervous as could be. But it's what really love with my music. Much more exciting than just recording your songs. Which I love recording my music. The next live gig was going to open for a friend at a winery. Which she couldn't make it. I had to cover the whole gig. Which it worked and it was fun. As they where expecting her and not me. (Kinda a blues brothers thing, good ole boys lol) . The recent live gigging I have done has been with the online Concert Window. As it has been great to experience the live feel of my music

I have my own sound system. But if you rather me use yours I can. I don't have lights. I carry a keyboard, electric guitar,acoustic guitar, bass guitar in my show. I play the different instruments on different songs
