A circus sideshow revival troupe, Wreckless Freeks perform acts that tax the human body to its' extreme limits using knowledge of physics, anatomy, and Mind Over Matter. The acts include thumbtacks, broken glass, a bed of nails, steel-tipped darts, sharpened bicycle spokes and loads of concrete smashing…with the occasional flesh hook thrown in for measure. All acts completely real – Wreckless Freeks are not magicians – they are proudly sideshow freaks. Don’t try this at home, kids!
We can tailor shows in a variety of ways...from family friendly to 18 , we can give you the exact level of entertainment that you need.
Michael and Ben were exceedingly flexible and easy going and offered a variety of different options. They were also pretty easy with rolling with the punches when plans got changed in the moment. We got our money's worth and then some.
Ben and Lurch were vary flexible and easy to work with.
they were on time and vary Professional.
Our Audience at my venue loved them.
When I booked the Wreckless Freeks for Oddmall: The Emporium of the Weird (http://oddmall.info/seattle - Cheap Plug). I wanted them to come and bring the sideshow circus atmosphere to my event. They exceeded my expectations on every level. Not only did they perform 3 sets, they brought with them some of the most amazing performers to share the stage with them. Belly Dancers, Burlesque, More side show performers and even a clown. The acts they performed kept the audience on the edge of their seats. I would go out of my way to have them at my event again. Sideshow Ben and The Mighty Lurch are true professionals in everything they do. I look forward to working with you both again soon!
Being the unconventional people that my husband and myself are, we decided to spice up our wedding reception with some good old fashioned side show awesomeness. Who else could fit the bill but Wreckless Freeks! Not only are they amazing performers, but everyone (even the baby boomers) got in on the action! These two really know how to make you laugh and shock you at the same time! Since it was our wedding, we were incorporated into a few acts in their show and holy cow, I've never been that close to a racoon trap before! It was so much fun and I would do it again in a heartbeat. They are professionals, they are gentlemen, but most of all they are freeks and thank goodness for that!
In my 13 years in the entertainment industry, I have witnessed several sideshow acts. I honestly feel that Wreckless Freeks are by far the most professional and polished group I have ever known in the genre. They display great attitudes on and off the stage, as well as a willingness to do whatever it takes within cost-effective reason to customize their act for whatever you need out of them.
I have seen them perform private parties, festivals, fashion shows, TV tapings, and in countless other formats. Each time, they fit within the aesthetics of the show admirably, they do a great job changing up their sets, and leaving the audiences wanting more. I can not recommend enough.
I had never seen a sideshow quite like the one Wreckless Freeks puts on. I was interested but didn't really know what to expect, well I was pleasantly surprised! I noticed some people hiding their faces and squirming in their seats especially when one of the performers "Lurch" stuck long needles into his knuckles making a pretty convincing Wolverine! One of my other favorite parts was an erotic chair dance paired with a chainsaw and plenty of sparks flying about! If you go to see Wreckless Freeks you won't be disappointed! It's a mad mash up of showmanship, danger, and seemingly death defying stunts all for our morbid curiosity or pleasure ;)
I've seen The Wreckless Freeks perform five times. Every time I was literally curled up in a ball in my seat peeking through my fingers like an 11 year old who had snuck into an scarey movie. Each time they have added something new to their repertoire.
What separates The Wreckless Freeks apart from other freak/sideshows (besides the fact that they could be used in a Mad Max film as extras and still stand out) is none of their feats can be considered "tricks". There's no slight of hand or rubber tips involved but, highly practiced stunts which without proper training and technique would gravely injure or even kill a person. These guys are the real deal who are actually putting themselves through pain for your entertainment.
I hired them to do a show at my birthday party and they were a huge hit. They would work well in most venues as either a side show or the main act. They are affordable, professional and surprisingly well mannered. If you want a little something unique to entertain your party guests or to add to the billing at a venue, The Wreckless Freeks will not disappoint in helping to make your event memorable.
Got to see the guys in a Seattle Club, up close and personal. Very entertaining, funny, and well organized. Would highly recommend them.
