January 9, 2026Memorial service
Wendy played a selection of requested hymns for my Dad’s memorial service. We gave her room to fill in more music beyond the list we provided her, and she couldn’t have done it any better. The music was exactly the way we envisioned it when we were planning the memorial.
Wendy also accompanied a vocal soloist during the service.
We have known Wendy and her musical talents for many years. She is excellent, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.

What to expect
For venues without a piano, I provide a professional keyboard and amplifier with an elegant range of sounds, from traditional acoustic piano to harp, guitar, and other textures that suit outdoor ceremonies and intimate indoor settings. I offer both solo performance and accompaniment for vocalists and instrumentalists, always focused on enhancing the moment rather than overtaking it.
For weddings where I might be providing dinner music only…to ensure a smooth flow for the reception and minimize disruption to guests, I request the ability to discreetly load out my keyboard and equipment immediately following my scheduled performance.
This allows the transition to dancing or DJ services to proceed without visual or logistical interference later in the evening, and avoids equipment teardown during peak guest activity.
I am happy to coordinate placement and timing in advance so the load-out is quick, subtle, and unobtrusive. Obviously if I’m playing during an entire event my teardown will occur after the event has concluded.
Please let me know if there are any venue-specific considerations I should plan for.
About
I discovered my love for the piano at a young age, beginning lessons with my mother-a music educator-who instilled in me a strong classical foundation. I continued studying through high school and later pursued advanced private instruction with college instructors as an adult. Although my formal degree is in physical therapy, piano has always been my lifelong calling.
My performance experience spans decades: I began playing as a young child for church services, did my debut wedding reception gig at 15 years old, have accompanied choirs and soloists, and performed at weddings, funerals, and corporate events. I bring a lifetime of experience to every occasion.
I work seamlessly in both worlds—reading written music with precision and playing by ear with freedom. Whether it’s a familiar piece, a client’s request, or a melody captured from a simple audio recording, I can learn and make it happen.
For venues without a piano, I provide a professional keyboard with an elegant range of sounds, from traditional acoustic piano to harp, guitar, and other textures that suit outdoor ceremonies and intimate indoor settings. I offer both solo performance and accompaniment for vocalists and instrumentalists, always focused on enhancing the moment rather than overtaking it.
My approach is simple: create a refined musical backdrop that elevates every event with subtlety, beauty, and intention.

Setup requirements
Need to be located near a power outlet. I will bring an extension cord with me but prefer to not be stringing 100’ of power cable across a floor to avoid tripping hazards!
