Wish Haus

Nolan Trifunovic is a filmmaker and the founder of Wish Haus, a boutique videography studio based in the San Fernando Valley and available throughout Los Angeles and Southern California.

He started in narrative film, writing and directing shorts including the award-winning Diamond Game. That background is what sets his event work apart: he doesn't just record what happened, he shapes it into something worth watching again.

For the past five years, Nolan has filmed events across Los Angeles, from city celebrations to intimate gatherings. Recent work includes an event for the City of Los Angeles. Whatever the occasion, the approach stays the same: real moments, natural sound, and the feeling of actually being in the room.

Dedicated Zoom recorders, so sound is captured on its own professional equipment, not just the camera's microphone
Sennheiser ME 66 shotgun microphone on a boom pole, for clear voices from a distance
Wireless lavalier microphones for officiants, toasts, and interviews
Direct feed from the venue's sound system when a DJ or band runs the PA, which gives speeches the cleanest track possible

Every item is owned, maintained, and packed with backups and spare cables, and Nolan runs the whole kit himself on every booking.
