Hello! My name is William VanZytveld - a graduate of Calvin University studying Music, Business, and Spanish. I've been playing piano for weddings, cocktail hours, funerals, and other variety of gigs wanting live background piano/keyboard music. Learning by ear and sheet music, I've been able to traverse genres from classical, pop, jazz, soundtracks, R&B, and more. I am able to travel anywhere in the Midwest and bring a keyboard/sound system should the venue not have a piano provided. Reach out if you have any questions!

Will did an excellent job at our mom's celebration of life service. Booking him was done easily and quickly. Since my mom loved hymns, he provided the perfect amount of vocal leading for each song too. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation; very professional and kind.

My husband and I really enjoyed working for William for our wedding. We gave him a series of songs we were looking to have piano renditions of and he made everything happen above and beyond our expectations. What to expect
I strive for quality, professionality, puncatality, and quality. I communicate proactively leading up to events on music needs (what songs are needed, what style, and timings). My policy is to arrive early to setup to start playing at the designated start time. I'm flexible in genres but feel most comfortable with classical, pop, soundtracks, and musicals. You are able to request either traditional piano sound or take advantage of the keyboard's multiple sound libraries.

Hello - welcome to WilliamVZ Music! Since 2021, I've been playing piano/keyboard at weddings, cocktails, galas, funerals and a variety of other functions. I have experience playing in churches, event spaces, wineries, outdoors spaces, and even the airport. Wherever and whenever you need live music for your event, WilliamVZ Music is able to travel to you and bring equipment, should the venue not have a piano. No song is off the table - I am able to learn aurally or through provided sheet music.
Additional booking notes
Regarding equipment, I carry with me a Roland speaker, extension cord, power strip, keyboard, keyboard stand, music stand. My only ask for events with keyboard is to ensure an electrical outlet is nearby.
