I will arrive 15 min-20 min prior to my gig to set up. I do require adequate light, a small table and 2 chairs-one for me and one for the person receiving services. I can bring my own table if needed. I will bring my own cushion, tablecloth, henna supplies, sealant spray and portfolio. I also bring candles and incense to enhance the experience, but can easily omit this add-on if the client has sensitivities or allergies. I will then engage with my clients, and give them each an original henna tattoo, answer any questions they might have, and supply
aftercare instructions. I generally can approximately 12 hand designs in an hour, but amount of henna designs per hour depends on intricacy of design desired, and demand. I take a deposit to secure services, and the remaining amount is paid to me after services are rendered. I do accept tips.

Kristen is a lifelong visual artist who has found her happiest medium in henna, as it combines her love and respect for art with her love of connecting with people. She specializes in traditional and botanical henna designs applied in a free- form style. I offer individual henna designs by appt, services for parties and events, custom designs, bridal and prenatal henna. I am committed to the safety of my clients, and therefore only use the finest, natural henna and pure essential oils, and do not condone the use of PPD, otherwise known as "black henna." I am based in beautiful, Portland OR.

I do need adequate light to do my work. If your event is a very dimly lit evening event, I will need an electrical source and a small lamp. A small table and 2 chairs also very helpful.
