What to expect
White Noise Yacht Club is the smooth-grooving creation of Pensacola Beach artist Mark White, serving up all the classic Yacht Rock hits. From Boz Scaggs and Steely Dan to Toto and the ultimate Yacht Rock legend, Michael McDonald, this one-man show celebrates the silky soft-rock sound of the late ’70s and early ’80s. With professionally produced backing tracks and a playful, crowd-engaging delivery, White Noise Yacht Club keeps the good vibes flowing—having everyone singing along.
Clients can expect a well prepared, self-sufficient, on time artist who wants to be a compliment to the venue, not a complication. The presentation is family friendly and fun, but professional. My rig relatively self-contained, and require a few power lines and a cover if outdoors. I strive to be the one thing the venue manager DOESN'T have to worry about. If we work together once, I'm quite sure I'll be added to your regular music rotation.
About
Meet Mark White — a powerhouse singer, songwriter, bassist, and guitarist with a career as diverse as his talent. Mark got his start in the vibrant music scene of upstate New York, cutting his teeth in venues where the genre didn’t matter—only the groove. From hardcore metal to Top 40 dance hits, if it paid the bills, Mark played it—and played it well. That musical versatility opened doors to perform alongside some of the region’s finest musicians.
His journey next led him to Atlanta, GA, where his musical palette expanded even further. Whether it was Contemporary Christian with Sonny Lallerstedt and Third Day’s Mac Powell and Brad Avery, down-home Country with Gates Nichols of Confederate Railroad, or straight-up Rock with guitarist Michael Staertow of The Guess Who and The Lou Gramm Band, Mark made his mark across genres with style and soul.
Now based on the sun-soaked shores of Pensacola Beach, FL, Mark continues to write, record, and perform with top-tier talent. He’s shared stages with the likes of Bo Bice (American Idol), Larry the Cable Guy, Colt Ford, and Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd.
These days, you’ll find Mark inspiring folks at First City Church in Pensacola or bringing the smooth sounds of Yacht Rock with his project "White Noise Yacht Club". Whether on stage or in the studio, Mark White keeps the music alive—genre-defying, ever-evolving, and always unforgettable.
Additional booking notes
I'm very self-contained. If the gig is outside, I'll need some shade and three power lines (if possible). I have my own line-array sound system, mixing console and equipment. Just show me where to set-up and leave the rest to me! I pride myself on being very self-sufficient and letting the venue managers manage other things and not have to worry about the entertainment.
