When I play, you get a live set that moves easily across blues-rock, Americana, and singer-songwriter favorites: recognizable songs delivered with a warm, charismatic feel rather than a wall of noise. Think familiar covers people quietly sing along to over dinner, then lean into as the night opens up — from a moody, cinematic "Paint It Black" and "Wicked Game" to Texas storytelling like "Pancho & Lefty," alongside a growing catalog of originals.

Whiskey Bravo is a Central Texas solo acoustic act built for rooms that want real music and a real good time — but don't let "solo" fool you. Live looped percussion and guitar rhythms get layered in real time, so what the room hears is a full, moving groove instead of one guy strumming.

Nothing is pre-recorded. Every beat, every rhythm part is played on the spot and built in front of you — tasteful, musical, and full. No stale backing tracks, no dead air.

The set list runs hundreds of songs deep: the classic rock, country, and singer-songwriter cuts everybody already knows the words to, mixed with stirring originals that stop a room mid-conversation.

Bars, clubs, private parties, weddings, corporate events, festivals — full PA provided, flexible sets, and an easy load-in.

Notes and technical info

Whiskey Bravo is a self-contained solo acoustic act, so setup is simple and the footprint is small. Here's what I bring, what I need from the venue, and a few notes to make the day run smoothly.

What I provide

Full professional sound — my own PA system, tuned for the room and kept at a level that fits the event, whether that's soft background ambiance or a lively, engaged crowd
All instruments, cabling, mics, and my Boss VE-8 acoustic processing rig
Warm amber stage lighting for evening and indoor events (optional)
The live QR song-request feature, run entirely from my own setup

What I need from the venue

Power: access to at least one standard grounded 120V outlet (a dedicated circuit is ideal for cleaner sound). For larger or outdoor setups, two nearby outlets are preferred.
Space: a roughly 6' x 6' area is plenty for a solo setup — a stage is welcome but not required. A flat, stable surface is all that's needed.
Load-in: reasonable access from parking to the performance area, and a heads-up on any stairs, elevators, or long carries.

Setup and timing

Setup takes about 45–60 minutes; teardown about 30. I'll plan to arrive well ahead of showtime — just let me know when the space is available for load-in.
For sets longer than 90 minutes, I'll typically take a short break; happy to schedule breaks around your event's flow (toasts, dinner service, speeches, etc.).

Outdoor events

Cover is required — a tent, awning, patio roof, or similar. Sound equipment and electronics can't be exposed to direct sun, rain, or extreme heat.
Shade over the performance area also keeps things comfortable and protects the gear during Texas afternoons.
A nearby power source is still needed; if only battery/generator power is available, let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

Larger venues

My PA comfortably covers small-to-medium rooms and typical private events. For large halls, big outdoor crowds, or venues with an existing house system, I'm glad to plug into or coordinate with house sound — just connect me with your sound contact ahead of time.

A few extras that help

If you have specific volume limits, sound ordinances, or a hard stop time, tell me up front and I'll work within them.
Song requests, first-dance songs, or a particular mood are best shared a week or two out so I can prep.
