EVERYONE deserves to have an awesome wedding. I cover The Greater DFW area and North Texas. I can travel some, so let's work that out.
Casual or formal, short format or long. Dressed up, or Au Naturale...GREAT! I'm in.
I'm here to take care of the one thing that YOU shouldn't have to worry about: the "official" part.
I'm happy to perform weddings of any type. I like to throw a little humor into any ceremony, be it Traditional, LGBT, or Motorcycle groups (Yes, I ride). Non-denominational, Naturalist, or purely secular (with no mention of religion) all are welcome.
If you need help with vows, or want me to say something special, or maybe you're just unsure of what's next, just ask me.

Friendly, easy-going and unconventional...that's me.
I am ordained. But honestly, THAT doesn't mean a thing without conviction and an interest in what it means to deliver on your wedding. I'm a good guy. I like to think that I have awesome values that don't necessarily go with the flow of the rest of the world. So YES...despite my conservative looking picture, I'm actually fun-loving and adventurous. I can sometimes be irreverent and have bad timing, but I'm always respectful of my fellow human being.
At my age (we'll leave it at that), I've seen a thing or two...and have decided to go into the second half of my life helping people achieve something they have only dreamed of...the joy of legally sharing a life together.
So why are YOU here? Lets face it...unless you know a wedding officiant out there, selecting someone to perform your wedding ceremony isn't going to be easy. Heck...just being "here" on this site tells me that you don't want the most important event in your life to happen in a government building. That's where I come in. Let me help.
You have questions...I have answers. How do we do this? What does it take?
It all makes you wonder what is it exactly...is the officiant he religious, not religious? Does he care about what he's doing, or is he just looking to make a quick buck?
All of these, of course, are valid questions. So here's what you'll get with me...
In my family, and circle of friends, I'm the guy that everyone wants to stand up and make a toast. They ask me to write something funny, or tell the story from my perspective. I'm the guy that they come to when they need a friend, or a hug, or when they just want to open up to an understanding and non-judging soul...without feeling like they have to hold back.
I'm the guy that doesn't judge from your past but opens his heart to you when you need to be assured that everything is going to be okay. I'm an open mind, in what can sometimes seem like a closed world.
What you get with me is straight-forward. Its called "WYSIWIG" (What You See Is What You Get). I like to think of that as, "refreshing."
My past as an educator has taught me how to speak and engage an audience. My experience in the US Military has taught me discipline and strength. Life itself has shown me that even in the most difficult situations, showing compassion for the human experience is paramount and the most important thing to lead a life that is just. Lastly, my mother has taught me how to treat people with kindness in a way that can only be described as love.
I am finding now, in my later years, that LIFE as an officiant is a whole can of "everything"...and "everyone." It is the best way (I have found) to show love and compassion. I don't just speak at a wedding. I MOVE people. I give them the message that YOUR wedding is very VERY special. (As it should be).
As a testimony from myself, the words you read here are NOT something you will find taken from an internet website, or something I had someone write for me. They are being written...right now...by me...for you. I will promise RIGHT NOW to handle your vows as if they were my own without regard to Race, Age, Religion, Non-Religion, social status, or LGBT, or WHATEVER your situation is right now.
Life is too short to expect ANYTHING less, and NOBODY a should have a wedding that isn't filled with a message of love and acceptance.
You can expect the same treatment when we work together on YOUR special day. And when you stand in front of me on that day...my job will be to help you share YOUR love with the people you've invited to share your special day with. Nobody should ask for less from an officiant!! I know that I wouldn't.
Talk to me...I'll be happy to go through my philosophy. We can have fun doing that.
6 months maximum scheduling. This means that I limit my bookings out by 6 months in advance. For me, this reduces the cancellations and date changes that often occur with these events to my books.
I can provide a small sound system as long as you provide the electricity. . But for larger venues, please ensure that there is adequate sound equipment at the establishment.
