For more than 40 years, I have had the privilege of standing behind a microphone at weddings and special events. Long before becoming a wedding officiant, I spent decades as an award-winning wedding DJ and professional emcee, learning how to read a room, calm nerves, tell a story, and most importantly, understand when the moment should belong completely to the couple.

Today, my focus is creating wedding ceremonies that are warm, personal, conversational, and truly personalized around your story.
And when I say personalized, I mean it.

I take the time to learn how you met, what brought you together, what you love about one another, what makes you laugh, the experiences that have shaped your relationship, and the people who matter most in your lives.

Then I take those details and create a ceremony that could only belong to the two of you.

Recently, after one of my ceremonies, guests came up to me and asked:

To me, there may be no better compliment.

I want your family and friends to listen to your ceremony and feel as though the person standing beside you genuinely knows you — because by your wedding day, I should.

Every wedding ceremony should be personal, whether it is just the two of you in an elopement or a larger celebration surrounded by family and friends.

The size of the wedding may change, but the importance of the moment never does.

Christian elements, Scripture, prayer, family traditions, memorial acknowledgments, private vows, and other meaningful touches can all be incorporated when desired.

I am also happy to officiate ceremonies for LGBTQ+ couples. Every couple deserves a ceremony that is personal, respectful, meaningful, and centered on the commitment they are making to one another.

For couples who would also like music and emcee services, I bring decades of experience as an award-winning wedding DJ. I am especially well suited for mature couples, second marriages, and celebrations where the music, personality, and connection with your guests truly matter.

As an ordained minister, celebrant, broadcaster, and professional communicator with more than four decades of experience, I bring a calm presence, confidence, and genuine care to every ceremony I officiate. Many couples—and often their parents—recognize me from my years on San Diego radio stations including KCBQ, B100, KPRI, and KSON, as well as ABC 10News and CW6.

Long before becoming an officiant, I spent decades helping people celebrate life's biggest moments through my San Diego entertainment company, providing music and hosting for thousands of weddings, anniversaries, and special events. Throughout my broadcasting career, I also had the privilege of introducing legendary entertainers including The Beach Boys, The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, Robin Williams, and Adam Sandler.

Whether I'm officiating a wedding, leading a celebration of life, or helping a family honor someone they love, my role is always the same—to support the moment so the people experiencing it can simply be present.

Many venues provide a microphone and sound system for the ceremony. If not, I'm happy to recommend the best solution so your vows are heard clearly by all your guests.

Beach Weddings

Because of the open space and ocean breeze, beach ceremonies often benefit from a portable sound system. I can provide professional ceremony sound when needed or coordinate with your venue's equipment.

If your venue has any specific requirements or restrictions, I'll be happy to work directly with your coordinator or event team to ensure everything is ready before your ceremony begins.
