I provide a wide range of music for events. For wedding ceremonies, I play solo classical guitar. For wedding receptions, cocktail parties, business meetings/luncheons, country club receptions, hotel and restaurants, I play in jazz groups--everything from just me, to duo, trio, and quartet groups. Instruments are chosen from electric guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone.
I have been a professional guitar performer in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point area (North Carolina) for 30 years. Along with playing concerts and providing background music, I've also taught at many of the Universities in the area. I have a Master of Music degree.
For weddings, I can play indoors or outdoors, but need a chair (no arms) and access to electricity (I amplify my classical guitar slightly). For jazz combos--access to electricity. That's it!

For weddings, I play the traditional pieces (Canon in D by Pachelbel, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach, etc) but always ask specifically what the couple wants. I can just about play any song you desire (but realize some songs for an entire band won't always work for solo guitar. Also, I don't sing).
