November 2, 2023This is my first time using Gig salad for a major life event, and it went well! Jeff did an amazing job coordinating with my wife and I on things we wanted for our wedding. Communication is key and Jeff certainly fit the bill on that aspect! Jeff stayed in communication with us via phone, website, and e-mail. On the day of the wedding, he did a good job on filling us in on last minute details even though the wife and I were a little unprepared due to no rehearsal at the venue. He made us feel confident and secure with the material presented to us in e-mail format. I would recommend Jeff if you are looking for a wedding officiant!

You can never know exactly what to expect at a wedding I am performing. And that's because I try to customize each ceremony to reflect the qualities of the couple. As a result, I've done weddings in fields, parks, with pets and children, and even while wearing a costume. My goal is to create a ceremony that is uniquely yours--and uniquely memorable.
A native of Iowa, I have lived in Texas for more than 20 years and have been a Certified Humanist Wedding Celebrant for more than 10 years. I'm also an active member of Westside Unitarian Universalist Church in Fort Worth and speak intermediate Spanish. I have a journalism degree, and in my "day job," I work in communications and public relations. My hobbies include running, cycling, piano--and hanging out with my amazing 6-year-old daughter.
If I'm going to be wearing a microphone, I very much prefer the couple arranges to provide a lapel mic--no handhelds, please. :-))
