About

Hailing from Seattle, Wasted Words has been performing the music of the Allman Brothers Band since 2013. We put Wasted Words together to celebrate the music of the Allman Brothers who for 45 years played their own brand of music, a mix of blues, rock, jazz, all the while staying true to who they were.
Our goal is to bring you their music in a way that is familiar by honoring the
recordings and incorporating the improvisational elements they were
known for.
We cover material from their self titled 1st album, to the Fillmore East
Recordings and on through the later years with Warren Haynes and Derek
Trucks adding their own feel to the music.
