WashedUp 100% rocks us - weekly!

WashedUp has been streaming live to our party crowd of 25-40 people, weekly for over four years. His fantastic originals and rockin’ covers, his soulful voice and phenomenal guitar solos, consistently make for one of the best live shows featured at our venue!

Rock, blues or country styles, he grabs the crowd right by the mood - and delivers exactly what everyone wants. He also never fails to give individual attention, making birthdays and personal events especially fun.

Not only does he provide excellent live music - every time - he’s also one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever worked with… Check out his great videos! Highly recommended to all.

What to expect

A unique blend of vocals and expressive guitar playing which is both sonically and visually engaging. There will be a crossing of genres blending blues, rock and country music into a feel good sound.

About

My real name is Wayne Severson, I adopted the name WashedUp Sideways to reflect that performances are fun! That's not to say I don't take the music seriously. I've spent years and years on the road playing the big stages with David Allan Coe, and with regional bands playing countless bars and venues across the country.

As years went on and I settled in, I got into recording and began making tracks to rehearse with. Before long I amassed a list of songs and began performing with my recorded tracks. As a lead guitarist I can tell you playing a solo over a rhythm section makes a lot more sense than not. :) For my style I find it helps make the entire performance more vibrant and lively by providing support for the vocals as well.

Additional booking notes

For moderate sized audiences I'm self sufficient with equipment. Give me a stage and electricity and we'll make it work.

Influences and inspiration

A crazy mixture of everything, I like all styles of music as long as it had the key ingredient of feel. Isn't that what music is for?

Setup requirements

Electricity

Enough space so I can distance the PA Speakers away from my standing position, at least 6 to 8 feet on both sides. This helps reduce feedback in the vocal mic if loud volume is required. If not, it's less important.
