The Walrus
Overview
The Walrus is one of the Northwest's favorite classic rock bands! Their rich vocal harmonies and sizzling musical arrangements on tunes from the Beatles to the B52s energize audiences of all ages. They even play the next-to-impossible 'Bohemian Rhapsody'!
The band consists of 5 seasoned professionals who care about making every event smooth and enjoyable for all. All five members sing, so the classic rock and swing tunes they perform are vocally rich. This allows the band to play many songs no other cover band would touch, such as songs by CSNY, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Stevie Wonder.
In 2015, The Walrus was selected to play at the NFC Championship game at Century Link Field.

About
Jamie Shea, lead vocalist, and guitarist/vocalist Chuck Dingée are hard-core Beatles fans who have been playing Fab Four tunes for more than 30 years in separate bands. Shea wrote a novella about the Beatles when she was 13 and just learning to play her first guitar. Dingée saw the Beatles in Comiskey Park, Chicago, in 1966 and played only Beatles songs with his first guitar.
They have teamed up with other self-described Beatlemaniacs: Michael "Ringo" O'Neal; Lee Pence on a blazing electric guitar and Walt Burkett on bass.
The group delights audiences of toddlers to seniors with the classic Beatles sound that bridges generations. The Walrus performs a wide variety of classic pop and rock tunes -- including songs by Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Slone, Paul Simon, Steely Dan and many others.
In 2015, The Walrus was selected to play at the Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship Game at CenturyLink Field.
In the past 13 years, The Walrus has headlined numerous festivals in Northwest Washington, including the Ski to Sea Fairhaven Festival, Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Street Fair, AT&T Maritime Festival, and many others. The Walrus has also played at numerous clubs, parties and weddings.

Testimonials
The Walrus performed at our year-end celebration and was a huge hit. As a chamber of commerce, we have a wide-variety of members from all walks of life, and the Walrus seemed to play to everyone. As with most business related events, we did have to give awards and have speeches, the Walrus were very professional as we held our program and then hopped right into their performance. At the end of the evening, the dance floor was still packed with revelers.
– Stefanie Hamilton, Anacortes Chamber of Commerce
They did a great job. Fun to dance to and people thought they were a tight band.
– Danne N
The Walrus was a true pleasure to work with. They were extremely professional, on-time and played a great show. We asked them to learn a song for us, and they did a phenomenal job of pulling it off. They were completely self-sufficient, they needed nothing from us (except payment of course!) and played for the contracted time, plus some. Highly recommended!
– Kellen S
The band was excellent to deal with and their performance was incredible. It was very nice to have a band that knew what they were doing and that provided a high quality show. I would recommend them highly and have already planned their return to our event for next year.
– Ted R
GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT TO WORK WITH, EVERYTHING WE WERE LOOKING FOR. WE WILL ASK THEM BACK NEXT YEAR.
