July 25, 2023I’d heard Wael’s hypnotic playing during the worst of the pandemic in Union Square NYC and I was incredibly moved and touched by his music, to the point of tears at times. It was definitely needed for this city that was shattered by Covid. When things returned to semi-normal I reached out to him via Instagram to see if he would play a few pieces for my grad class. He agreed and was a huge hit with them. We focused on ways to help those with trauma and ptsd and discussed how healing music can be. His music is gorgeous and therapeutic and I’m so happy he’s back in NYC!
