The Voices of Glory
Michael, Avery, and Nadia started singing together in 2007 after their mother, Felicia, was in a head-on car collision with a drunk driver. She was seriously injured and in a coma. They serenaded their mother for months and she eventually came out of the coma and started rehabilitation. This wasn’t the end of the kids’ singing, however. They started traveling to nursing homes and other hospitals in an effort to help other patients. Participating in “America’s Got Talent” was very important to this group because they wanted to show their parents how much they inspire them.
One of their crowd favorites was always “God Bless America.” In the aftermath of tragic earthquake in Haiti, Voices of Glory saw our nation unite and galvanize to rescue the ailing island, while still focusing our energies on navigating the tumultuous tides of our own continued war in the Middle East and economic fall. Voices of Glory believes that now, more than ever, we need to sing “God Bless America” and what better place and time to make this proclamation than the biggest night and stage in Gospel music—the GMA Dove Awards.
