Voice & On Camera Actor Ari Ross
Overview
I'm on on-camera & voice-over artist, leaning toward a conversational, fun and sometimes even improvisational approach.
This could be for man-on-the-street interviews, film, TV and corporate videos. For voice-over, my work can encompass explainer videos, corporate narration, commercials, retail and/or convention kiosks, EPKs, promos, trailers, etc.
My goal is to help solve the voice or on-camera aspect of production, utilizing conversational/real (not the old school "radio voice") approach.
I have a full set up for V/O with phone patch, easy download links. For voice streaming: ISDN, ipDTL or Source Connect Now.
For on-camera, I can audition and send you a private YouTube link.

July 5, 2022A hidden Gem of a character and voice actor!
Ari Ross.... or should I say President John Adams.... or colonial historian.... Ari took on the role of John Adams, a president and founding father no one talks about during the fourth of July much less gets dressed up to portray this historical figure. Ari took this role far beyond what I can put into words here. His post initially was on a pedestal competing with all of the sounds an attractions around where he still managed to pull in a small crowd of fascination and brief historical points. The client was so impressed they wanted everyone to get a chance to experience President John Adams, so he was then set to roam the fair grounds freely. An absolute joy Ari was in his role, he is the real deal!!

October 22, 2021Ari was a Hit!
Ari Ross is a true pro. He put hours and hours into preparing for his role. He even conducted research on the history of the piece of literature he read. The audience members were completely charmed by his character.

Thank you so much, Leonard! I very much enjoyed the opportunity to bring this wonderful piece of Robert Browning's work to life! I look very forward to working with you again on anything that might present itself in the future.

What to expect
For on camera acting, I specialize in improvisational, comedic and conversational approaches.
For V/O:
I specialize in very conversational reads, characters galore & promos and movie trailers. Good clean audio is either streamed or uploaded as a WAV file. Types of content recorded can be radio and television commercials, corporate narration as well as projects such as voices for telephone systems, toys and cartoons/animation as well as movie trailers and promos.
About
An actor from a young age, I've always leaned toward making my art, my living.
My specialties are on-camera hosting with a casual and comedic flair as well as general acting (television, film & corporate projects) As well as voiceovers (specialties being very conversational, characters & promos/trailers).
Although I can travel for certain types of work, these days most of my work is done from my home recording studio. Once a client sends me a script, we can get on the phone (or Skype or Zoom, if it's out of the US) and then I can be directed while recording takes at my end and high-quality WAV or AIFF file formats.
Another new option is streaming my audio via Internet-based streaming service to which I subscribe, Namely: Source Connect.
In any event, if I record here, I clean up the file a bit and upload the file to my server giving you a link for easy download.
As I say, I specialize in very conversational approaches, characters as well as promos and deep movie trailer reads.
Feel free to send me your detailed project info and I'll be happy to give you a quote!
Additional booking notes
For on camera work, I can send you a short audition from my home (or come to you if you're anywhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth area). As for actual work, I can travel most anywhere depending on rate, Perdiem etc.
As for voiceover, I have a professional recording studio in my home and can stream to or send audio files anywhere on earth with an Internet connection.
If direction is needed, I can be directed over the phone within the US or Skype worldwide.

Influences and inspiration
Don LaFontaine was a big influence for my movie trailer work. People like Robin Williams, Jim Carrey and other comedic, loose, somewhat improvisational performers have helped inspire me to do the work that I do In the character vein– both in for on-camera and voiceover!
